I’ve created a set of custom playing techniques (trombone slide positions with pitch alterations) on my desktop. I also have Dorico installed on my laptop. FWIW both are connected to Google Drive so perhaps I can move a file over? If I do this, I assume I need to create a simple doc and insert all the new playing techniques so when I open it on other computer, they will be available, yes?
The easiest solution is to open a document that contains all your PTs on the second machine, then go to the Edit Playing Technique dialogue and click the star to default every one you want.
You can also use the Library Manager for a quicker import but they will not be defaulted.
Expert mode requires to go to the User Library in macOS or the equivalent in Windows. Are you comfortable doing that?
