How can I transfer CuBase to my new PC? Do I need to return the software before I can download again?

Hi Matthias, and welcome to the forum. To answer your question fully, we need to know what version and edition of Cubase.

You can simply download the Download Assistant from the Steinberg Website on your new PC, login to your mySteinberg account and install Cubase from your product list.

After it is installed launch the Activation Manager and activate your license. Cubase can be installed and activated on up to three Devices at the same time.

Hi, MrSoundman

CuBase 14 Pro. I have installed it on my laptop, but want to transfer the software to a faster PC using the same email address. Is there some method for returning it or can I simply deinstall and download it again to the new PC?

As Juergen says you have 3 activations so should be no problem to just install it…And you can de-activate your old computers at any time in your MySteinberg account if you need to free up an activation.
