Transfering MediaBay data from old Cubase and Windows to new

Hi

I am using C13 on Win10. When I update to C14 or later and upgrade my PC to a new one with Win11 or even Win12, what is the best procedure to make sure that all of my MediaBay data gets saved and transferred to a new machine?

I have been browsing through a lot of factory presets using Steinberg’s own VSTs and saving plenty of the presets, that I like, by giving them 4 or even 5 stars. My worry is, that my progress might be gone if I don’t back it up the right way.

So far, I have been backing up my entire C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 13_64 folder manually to another drive, but is that enough?

And if I get a new PC soon with Win12 and Cubase 14 or 15, then how should I proceed? That is, so I can resume browsing through presets and have all of my MediaBay data saved, especially the star rating of my presets.

Bookmarking so I can remember to reply when I’m at the computer. I just did a new pc build and the migration was probably my smoothest ever.
