When I transferred My song files from window xp computer to windows 10,cubase on windows 10 can’t read them. They turn into windows security and other types of files… can some one Help… Thanks in Advance…
It doesn’t matter what windows shows as a file type in the explorer, you should still be able to open the files in Cubase via the File menu, you are just not able to double click them. Well, as long as you have Cubase SX installed, anyway, that was the last version that could open arr/all files, if I remember correctly…
These files are not recognized as Cubase files, because it is a very old format. Have a look at the web page below for Cubase releases that can read these files and convert them into the current .cpr format.
