I think having transparent events while slip editing would take care of all the transparent event complains as a whole.

Events need to be transparent all the time. Editing multitrack drums is near impossible when you cant see the grid all the time. I have been using C6 to quantize drums, then going back to C5 so I can actually edit them so they are perfect. Please Steinberg, put this simple feature back asap!!!

Pease, I asked your mates at the Musik Messe, too, they said, it would be soon implemented.
