I recently downloaded Cubase Elements 6 on my MacBook and noticed the transport input volume meter is stuck on peak(clip) even with no sound being played. When I play a sound I get a loud static type sound. I had no problem when I had Cubase on my PC. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
