Transport is broken in ARA2

Hello my fellow sufferers.

In my system (N 13.0.41, SL 11.0.1, Win11 up-to-date) the transport in SL is completely broken. The cursor doesn’t respect the delay compensation, it never stays in place on stop, but also won’t go back to start position (it jerks back and the stops quite a bit ahead), I can’t make page scrolling stop either, so at each stop the waveform jumps to wherever, and this is making me c-c-CRAZY on a long editing session.

Is anyone else getting this behaviour? I’m on a freshly installed system, started from scratch.
@Robin_Lobel can you please take a look at this? Please…

P.s.: while we are at it, I also can’t make the view settings stick. Everytime I open it its at the default everything, despite setting it up, saving the profile, etc.etc.

@henrique_staino there’s another thread about it here : Bug: In ARA-Mode the playback cursor ignores Cubases's latency compensation

However I did not have time to have a look at this issue yet. I’m prioritizing it for patch 3.
Patch 2 is already in the pipe for release next week.

Regarding display settings, the setting filter presets that you define are only setting filters.
To change the default values, go to Preferences > Display.

Hi @Robin_Lobel ! As always thank you for your attention to us here.

I have seen that thread, but there are a few points that go beyond the latency issue, one of them being that the transport doesn’t respond to the configurations (as return to start position on stop, or stay in place on stop), and also the jumping around, causing the spectrogram to move even with scrolling disabled.

I have re-checked the display settings as you said, and it is indeed working!
I’m sorry for having such a dumb complaint, I guess I was very tired already.

I’m aware that you didn’t have time to look into the transport stuff, I just repeated them in this message to make sure you add these other bugs to the pack when you get on it.

Thanks a lot again!
