When transposing an audio file, Cubase 10.0.40 adds approximately 5 db of gain to the track (according to input metering on the track). This occurs when transposing either up or down in pitch. If I return to transpose = 0 for the audio file, the original gain is restored. 
I can correct by lowering clip gain of the file by -5 db - Iām just wondering why this happens?? Anybody else noticed this?
