Transpose by enharmonic intervals in one operation

On behalf of Steve Parry, only the latest in a long line of users who have stumbled on this issue (and certainly many more to come, with all the Finale converts):

When transposing a piece that is in more than one key, currently sometimes it must be done in sections for different enharmonic intervals. Dorico, logically, doesn’t even offer an interval in the Transpose dialog where any of the resulting keys would have more than 7 sharps or flats; this can be frustrating. Finale, as I recall, will allow transposing to a key with up to 127 flats or sharps; this is not more useful. Of course this is a trivial operation in a sequencer, since midi is enharmonic-agnostic – but our notation cannot be.

Since Dorico is smart enough to wrap remote key sigs around when needed for transposing instruments … Would it be possible for transposing to allow the same kind of wrap-around for the resulting keys?

Daniel @dspreadbury, what do you suppose the prospects of this might be?
I see that this issue was brought up as early as May 2016.

We’d need to give it some thought. I’m sure something would be possible given sufficient time and attention.
