Transpose don't work Cubase 14

Surely, I am missing something here. Whatever value I put in “transpose” does not function in the latest Cubase 14. +12 or -24 makes no difference. Have I missed something basic in the new update?

hmm, the loops work as expected now.

but the vocal recording I got from someone using Ableton Live doesn’t work
