Transposing Audio

Hi Guys,

I’ve just upgraded from Cubase sx3 up to 6.5 and I’ve noticed that when you transpose audio it has a different sound to how it did in sx3, it’s almost as if its playing through a tape machine, the resulting quality is a lot worse and makes the audio have a ‘warp’ sound at the beginning. Could any one shed light on this? I’ve had a look but cant find any settings for the algorythm. Hopefully my explanation will make sense. Thanks in advance!

i`m looking at 5 now, but i think in the pool under algorithms left click and you get a choice .
