Thanks for this. I can confirm that it does now work (C8) but you don’t need to set up the E Phrygian mode, you can leave everything as C Major:

Semitones : 4
Scale Correction : On
Current and New : C Major

Also works for negative numbers: -8 gives you thirds an octave down (any pianist will tell you how common this is).

Couldn’t be easier now and we no longer have to be aware of arcane musical theory, which is the best bit of news.

I don’t think there actually is an automatic solution to what you are wanting, unfortunately.
You are trying to make a harmony one third up on that diatonic D major scale, right? So, in fact Cubase is doing its ) )
