How do you easily respell chord symbols that have been transposed? For example, I transposed a song from E major down a tritone to B flat major, but the chord symbols say A# major, E# aug 9, C double sharp m7, F double sharp m7… and other such nonsense. I’ve been able to respell the notes, but the chords are another story…

To get a guitar part (capo 3rd fret playing in D) to show F#m instead of Gbm I have to make the chord symbol in the other parts Gxm. So, in order to fix the guitar part to look sensible I have to make all the other parts look like nonsense.
