Transposition clefs

Hi,
Is there a way to get the “Uncommon Clefs” such as “treble clef octave above” to have the same effect as, for example, octave lines?
Extended sections using 8va can be messy and I would prefer to use a clef to indicate the octave transposition.

Check the Octaves shift property in the lower panel with the clef selected.

You can set this globally in Notation Options:
