Transposition overrides - not affecting the key signature

I’ve duplicated a layout. In this new copy I want to change the transposition from C+ to D+.

I opened the “clef and transposition override box”. Under transposed pitch, I changed “Written Middle C Sounds” to Bb3, and I get the music transposed to D+ but with all accidentals, and no change in the key signature.

What can I do to fix this? What have I missed?

Could be that you didn’t add a C key signature in the score, that it’s using atonal. Or just add a C key signature to the new part.
