Tremolo lines between notes exactly an octave apart

Hello all,

a while ago I posted a question on Dorico Facebook group, but it seems it went unanswered, so I dare to repost it here (sorry for the spam).

According to engraving rules tremolo lines between notes that are octave or more apart can be notated between stems, but it seems it only applies to those that are further than octave. Is there a way to make it for specifically octave intervals?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

You can use right-click>stem>force centred beam.
Does that work for you?
