Trigger MIDI note from sidechain signal

Is anyone aware of a method in Cubase to trigger a MIDI note from a sidechain signal? Preferably it would translate gain to velocity.

Hi Greg

I would put KT Drum Trigger or similar as one of the FX sends (instead of an actual FX) then add a midi track with KT (or whatever) as the midi input, that oughta do it!
