Triggering Midi Patterns

Hello.

I found while using Groove Agent SE that there is the option of triggering midi drum loops using a midi pad.

i’m trying to find a way to trigger midi patterns for Melodic synth patchs inside Cubase.

Let say i have 6 different Midi baselines programmed and I want 'Prologue Synth" to play them on Command.
I would like to know if there is a way inside Cubase to manually trigger these midi files.
Or if there is an external midi VST that will achieve this.

One way is to add the midi effect 'step designer" as a midi insert. You would have to create the patterns in the step editor. Patterns can be changed from your keyboard or automated,
The Arranger track also has some possibilities.
I see you can drag melodies from the project into Groove Agent SE, but I don’t see a way to get those midi patterns to trigger another instrument. I would think it should be possible (maybe in GA4?)
Ableton Live is great for this.

A little plugin to trigger midi clips would be very useful.
