Trill to harmonic

I was wondering if it is possible to create a trill to a harmonic note (either natural or artificial)? I don’t need playback for this. I am attaching an example: here the node above the open string is given (double bass) and the idea is to trill between the open string and the harmonic as well as increase pressure on the node over the duration of the trill to a “normal” trill by the end of it.

My thinking right now is to create the trill and in another voice the harmonic with a different scale and bracketed noteheads.

(btw. I don’t think A# over E is a valid harmonic for a double bass)

It’s not a traditional harmonic, no. I think it’s called a multiphonic (don’t quote me on that). The piece has been performed and it does work, even if I don’t remember the terminology right now :slight_smile:
