Triplets display

Can you somehow remove this binding in the middle of the last triplet?

That’s strange – tags look ok to me.

Do you have any old Display Quantize events in this project? Check Score > Hide signposts is turned off so you can see them in the score (or open List Editor and filter out notes and controllers). If so, then try deleting them.

No, there are no quantize entrys at all, not in the entire song.
Signposts are on (not hide)

it should be within a quarter triplet two sixteenths and two eighths

can you attach an example?

I’ve finally had a moment to look at this. It’s a bit awkward because the 16th notes have caused a 16th triplet to be created, which then ties into a second one. Obviously this is not the best representation of this data. You can’t use Display Quantize events to help in this case because that only influences the quantized positions, not the actual tuplet combinations (ie notes are quantized according to the DQ and then the tuplets are inferred).

I found that one way of getting the desired notation (or at least, what I assume you wanted) is to create an explicit 8th tuplet in another bar and then nudge it back into position. Or you might be able to create it in a second voice and then change the voice back to the first. I’m sorry that there isn’t an easier way of doing this at the moment – tuplet creation is still quite difficult.

Dear Paul, thank you for your help.

I didn’t quite understand the first paragraph.
I did understand the second paragraph, but it didn’t work on the first try either,

  1. voice:

but then

and you’re right, I’ll just leave it as is for now and hope for updates.

Thanks again!

p.s. oh after some Strg Z I see that:

That is the best but i cannot remove the staccato.
Neither shortening the note, nor lengthening it, nor clicking “stacc” in the menu produces a legato slur.

This overlap at the top of the image should actually create a legato slur.

And it sounds not right. The last note should be there:
