Hi,
A quick question: Is there a way to quickly locate the currently selected track in the visibility tab? I’m having a hard time locating that, since the shading is REALLY unobtrusive. The idea is to be able to quickly make the selected track disappear.
Thanks!
Benji
Right klick on the track and select hide track.
Makes sense, and that’s what I do most of the time now…
But is there a way to change the highlight color in the visibility pane?
Thx,
Geek
If you go to file, preference and go to the collor setup. You can alter the background color to bring out a bigger contrast.
Here is a demo of my situation:

As you can see, there is almost no contrast between selected items in the visibility pane when I select tracks in the project. Clicking in the pane itself is fine, but my purpose is to find tracks quickly in the pane while working in the project.
And I couldn’t find a color setting for that, and wasn’t planning on changing my background either…
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Benji
I must admit I didn’t even realise the selected track was highlighted in the visibility section since the contrast is so low!
The only way I can see to do it is by changing the background which I know you said you don’t want to do. Strange, the useful colour options are pretty limited.
I can’t stand the dark color layout in cubase. Old eyes need some brightnes.
So not an issue for me. With luck Steinberg will improve the color options. But it might take some years.
Fair enough, let’s hope for the best!
