Trouble Recording External Synth

Hi,
I would like to record my PSR-A3000 on my keyboard. I am using MR816CSX as my input/output audio interface. Here is what I did ( based on this video: How to set up External Hardware in Cubase - YouTube)

  1. I have a stereo cable going from my PSR to MR (Mic/LineIn/Hi-z Jack 1).
  2. Added a stereo input bus ( named it PSR-A3000).
  3. created midi track for recording PSR
  4. created an audio track with input set to bus with named PSR-A3000.
  5. Armed both tracks and played on PSR keyboard.
  6. MIDI recorded but not the audio track!

What am I doing wrong please?

Is your MIDI track setup to trigger the PSR-A3000 (midi out, channel, etc)? Can you send a screen shot of your MIDI track settings?

Thank you. This post was long for long ago. Maybe I should have given and update on this.

It turned out the outputs of my PSR keyboard are not working. I sent it to the service center.
