Trouble with Tenor Sax Part in Big Band Arrangement: Need Help with Transposition and Clef Display

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on an arrangement for a Big Band and I am having difficulty achieving my desired notation for the Tenor Sax part. Specifically, I would like the part to be displayed in bass clef in the score, but in treble clef in the transposed part. However, despite transposing the part, it still appears in bass clef when I view it.

Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for how I can adjust the transposed part to display in treble clef only? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or tips you can offer.

You can either:

• Assuming the full score is concert pitch, input an explicit bass clef at the start of the flow, then set it to appear as a treble clef in transposing layouts

• Use a clef override in the part layout and set it to use a treble clef when the part is transposing (requires there not to be an explicit, selectable clef at the start of the flow)
