I just bought a UR22 mkII audio interface with an AKG microphone. I am just starting with this and have Pro Tools First which is the free version.
I have the XLR cable going from the mic to the audio interface and the USB cable going to the computer. Pro Tools recognizes the device but when no sound is coming through. I have the input set to the UR22mkinput1. When I arm a track and try to record it says that it cannot initialize the device and to make sure it has been configured correctly.
