Create the cue like you normally would and it should show up.
Unfortunally only as repetive notes (without pitch change)
Well, there really is no notation staff there in which to put in the notes in the first place…
Right, it adds it as a rhythmic cue which is normal for percussionists to see I believe.
If you want pitched cues for an unpitched instrument, the trick is to add a pitched instrument, dedicated to the cues, to that player (and allow instrument changes).
