Try to do Chord Track From MIDI, but when right clicked, I get a tool selection bar

Apparently I’m supposed to be able to create chords in the chord track from MIDI.

Problem is, its not working here for me in Cubase Pro 12.

When I follow along here, ensuring I have already created a chord track, I created a MIDI part with simple triads, and I selected it and right clicked. I get a tool selection bar.

If I hold shift (which the reference above doesn’t mention), then I DO get the context menu. Is it my computer that’s misbehaving?

Hi,

Use the Ctrl+right-click. There is the preferences to switch off you want to see the drop-down menu or the tool set when you right-click. The other option is always with the Ctrl/CMD hold.
