Trying to color Slash Region

Hi. In the attached document I am trying to color bars 9 & 10 Navy Blue. Doesn’t work. I think it’s because it has to be a slash voice. I tried converting it to a slash voice but no go. Any ideas?

Hi @Yavor_Kresic, you can delete your slash region. You have already the first beat note. You can select that first note, and press “R” 7 times to fill the two bars. Then select the rests and from menu Edit click Remove rests. Then select the notes, right click>Voices>Change Voice>New Slashed Stemless Voice (so you will not influence other passages).

Thanks Christian. I was using the delete key instead of the back delete key. Video really helped
