Trying to use MIDI controller knobs in relative mode

Hello!

I’m using Cubasis 3 on an Android tablet with an Akai MPK mini mk3 controller, connected via USB. Everything works great with the controller, with one exception:

The controller’s knobs support both absolute CC mode (values between 0 and 127 depending on the knob’s position) and relative mode (values 1 or 127 depending on which direction the knob is turning). The relative mode would be much better for my workflow, but I can’t figure out how to get Cubasis to interpret the values as relative.

When the controller is set to relative mode, and I use MIDI Learn to map a controller knob to a Cubasis knob or slider, the position in Cubasis will instantly jump between minimum and maximum, instead of gradually increasing or decreasing with the knob’s movements. I also tried changing the controller’s output values to other common relative values, such as 63 and 65, but those were interpreted as absolute also.

The only other DAW I have experience with is REAPER, which has a dropdown for changing how a mapping is interpreted, which works great for this situation:

Does anyone know if Cubasis 3 supports relative mode for CC inputs? And if so, what values are expected, or where do I go to enable it?

Thank you!
