I have the tuplet bracket turned off in the score,
but it still appears in the cue.

Aren’t your local properties set to Locally when you hide the bracket in the full score?
I just tried, and on my end, set them to Globally makes the difference for the cue.
That was the answer I needed, @charles_piano Thank you. The distinction between local and global has been lost on me because this is the first ensemble piece I’ve done in Dorico. But no longer!
