Hi there !
I’m trying to play around Zappa’s black page, and even though I can manage to write tuplets with midi (13 notes played across a 4/4 bar), it doesn’t translate to the score editor.
There was once a “build n-tuplets” function in the score menu, but it seems it has disappeared.
So is there a way with Cubase 14 to write weird tuplets within the score editor ?
Thanks for your help !
Samuel
Hi @Arthur_Rambo, you can find a number of different tuplet ratios to use in the dropdown list of the note toolbar. Select a ratio, then use the button left of the dropdown to apply to a selection of notes, or use the ratio during StepInput or input with the pencil tool.
You will however struggle to input black page when you get to nested tuplets, as those aren’t fully supported right now. You will be better off entering the score in Dorico.
Hello @StefanFuhrmann
Thanks for your reply.
Hopefully nested tuplets will be implemented in future versions.
Have a great day.
