Tuplets issues

Using 6.2.20.6183

I’ve looked through the Tuplet information in the manual and I guess I’m missing something. In the attached screen shot, I want to make this into 3:2 with the first eighth divided into two sixteenths. The tuplet tool gives me variations including dividing the second eighth into tied sixteenths. I just want 2 sixteenths, and two eighths. What am I not doing correctly? See screenshot.

It should work with an eighth triplet. Enter your triplet as 3:2e. (or just 3:2 if your selected note value is already an 8th note).
Then enter 2 16ths and 2 8ths.

Edit: I realize you’re maybe trying to transform an existing figure into a tuplet, and not to create it totally. Then 3:2e should work as well:
