Turn Grid Snapping Off For CC Automation Only?

Hi, I like to always have my grid snap on for recording MIDI but I like to draw my CC automation by hand smoothly without snapping. I need to toggle snap on and off constantly to be able to accommodate this and its getting annoying. Is there a way to turn snapping off for CC automation only?

I already have my automation reduction level at 0%. This doesn’t seem to work for CC automation however.

Hi,

CCs are also MIDI. I expect you mean you want to enable Snapping for MIDI Notes and disable Snapping for MIDI CC. Am I right?

You also mentioned that you want to enable snapping for recording. Are you talking about recording or about editing?

If you are talking about editing, it’s not possible to enable snapping for the MIDI Notes area only and disable snapping for the MIDI CCs area.

This setting is not relevant for MIDI CC data recording, nor editing.
