Turning notes into rests

Sorry for the trivial question, but I’ve been using Dorico for a few months and I’m still learning the functions.

I wanted to ask how to transform an inserted note into a rest?

It could depend on the context, but basically, just select the note(s) and delete!

(Insert Mode must be turned off)
