Turning off the annoyingly intense reverb on vocals

I realize that each voice/instrument has its own set of enhansements, but is there or why isn’t there a “simple” way of turning off the effects? I’ve tried dialing off any/all reverb settings in ‘Instrument Edit’, and still there is WAY too much. I having the most trouble with vocals. And I realize that Sustained Voices are gonna have a bunch. I want dry instruments so I can shoot them over to my DAW so I can control the effects on the mixer.

Thanks - Patrick

Hi @agvocalist, you didn’t specify which vst library are you using.

In case you use the Auto Playback Template of Dorico, then your vocals will use Halion Sonic (with Olympus Choir for section voices). You can set the Reverb Mix to 0:

If the reverb is still too much, you can use another library that has a dryer sound. I am sure someone will give further advices.

I tried that. In the example, you can see my libraries.

Thanks!

What happens if you turn the Release Pots all the way down?
