Two Audio Files but one is longer that the other

I havre a live recording of a live flute part playing with a. Fix media recording The flute part was great but the fix media had problems due to one of the speakers hookup wrong. I am trying to take the recording of the performance. And remove the fix media part by. phase invert The problem is that the audio recording of the performance’s wave file is longer than the Original fix media audio file. . How do I get the two audio files of the same thing to match so I can create the invert phase to remove everything but the flutes .

Please give it a try to edit the audio file in the Cubasis audio editor, and save the edited version via the “To Media” button.
