Two bars numbered the same!

I’ve never seen this before, but I have two bars that are both numbered as bar 4. I noticed it because I can’t get the bar number to show above the beginning system on the second line, but all my bar numbers are wrong after number 4 because of this double bar.

The music is different in both bar 4’s. I’ve tried to insert a different bar between and then copy and paste the contents and then delete the 2nd bar 4, but it’s still numbering bar 4 AND 5 as bar 4.

Help? (btw…this was an xml file originally exported from Sibelius)

Hard to know without seeing the file, but try deleting the barline between bar 4 and … 4.
This will either replace a “manual” barline with a default one, which should solve the problem; or remove the barline altogether, in which it’s not the solution and you should put it back!

At worst, you could add a bar number change at the second bar 4 to be bar 5.
