I have Cubase on only one computer, which I am about to reinstall to factory settings. I was told it’s a good idea to deactivate Cubase before continuing so that I’d still keep the option of having 3 installations. When I logged in my Products tab showed that I have it installed on 2 computers, both with the same name. Is this usual for a single installation or do I have 2 copies on one computer?
You had it activated twice, probably due to a hardware change. Just deactivate what you don’t need, and you’re good. It’s easy to activate and deactivate machines whenever you like.

Seems like you have indeed activated this license twice on one computer. Just deactivate them and reactivate it afterwards once you reinstalled Cubase.
EDIT: I was too slow…
