Two groups of trioles into one sextole

Hello,

Can I subsequently convert two groups of trioles into one sextole (I have a lot of them)?

Thank you already and a happy and healthy New Year 2026

I don’t think an automation for this exists.

You could enable Insert mode, select all tuplets in a region, erase them, —do not panic here— , then select, one by one, the first note of each 6-tuplet and insert a 6-tuplet manually. Perhaps Option/Alt-click could work but I am not 100% sure.

Don’t forget to turn OFF insert mode at the end.

oh, yes it works. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work during breaks, because the triplets are grayed out!
Nevertheless, thank you very much. Happy New Year.

By “break” you mean “rests”?

Be sure to turn on View > signposts > tuplets.

Happy New Year to you too!

Thank you

Oh yes sorry English rest. Do you mean this? Tuplets (Triolen) are already turned on!

Good!

I think you may want to proceed in smaller excerpts because insert mode will also affect rests. I know, it is a pain, and it is boring, but with enough cold blood you will get there!

In any case, if you want to share an excerpt for us to look at, we will gladly help.
