Two harmonics question

Hi, I have two questions regarding harmonics on harp and string instruments. If anybody could help…

Harp harmonics are commonly notated “transposed,” i.e. the sounding pitch should be an octave higher than notation. Is there a way to make the playback an octave higher without alter the score? I tried to add 8va and hide it, but as soon as I hide it, the notation goes back to the sounding pitches.

My second question is about string harmonics glissandi. I can’t have dorico produce the line to connect the diamond notes. I have been faking the harmonics using intervals, which unfortunately doesn’t produce the correct playback. Is there another workaround that I can still use the harmonics function while getting two gliss lines?

Thanks for help.

RE: your second issue
You can use the line tool for the flageolet noteheads.

Is there a way for the line to attach to the upper notes? They don’t seem to recognize diamond notes as something they can attach to. I’d prefer if possible to avoid using offsets as offsets can get messed up with changes in layout.

Offset them in Engrave mode. Make sure properties panel is set to global. It will not mess with Lay-out when changes appear

For transposition: in your expression map, set up the switch for harp harmonics to transpose the octave, and then simply enter the notes in the score at the appropriate pitch.
