I hope these are simple answers someone out there can help with - using Cubase 7.5:

  • How do I remove an instrument from the VST Rack if I no longer want it? I can remove Track Instruments by just deleting the track, but a Rack Instrument seems to be stuck with no option to remove in either the VST Rack or the Arrange Track…

  • How do I enable auto-track-coloring?

  1. Click on instrument name and choose No VST Instrument.
  2. Preferences > Event Display > Tracks
