Two sounds sets

Hi,
I write music for orchestras, but something, the combinations of synthetics sounds (for example, a mix of brass, strings, winds and percussion) are not perfect to hear chords/harmony/harmonics.
In this case, I like to make all instruments with a piano sounds to have a “forced” homogeneity of sounds and hear all these things. It’s a big work to change all sounds, and sometimes come back (and worst case : ping pong between two sounds set).
Does Dorico have a function for changing all sounds ? Can my sounds be easily switched ?
Thank you.

This makes sense to me and I have, on occasion, changed a multi-instrument playback to a piano in order to hear the mix of pitches without distraction of instrument-specific overtones, etc. I have yet to find a way other than in Track Inspector, simply changing all to a separate VST with a piano on channel 1. When I change to the specified VST, the piano channel pops up automatically. To reverse this, it is a chore changing everything back instrument by instrument.

In addition to your request for a “change all sounds at once” capability, I would find it extremely helpful to be able to add Effects to all instruments at one time rather than having to click through each player to add the same effect. With some luck, maybe we’ll be granted our wishes!

Would making a copy of your file and changing its playback to all piano save the work of restoring the original instrumentation?
