Two Steinberg ID's? Should I re-download the demo?

Hello,

I have a license for Cubase Pro 14, as well as Dorico 6 and a few other products (Spectralayers, Backbone, etc.). Today I signed in to demo the new Cubase 15. I downloaded the demo and got it up and running.

But then after quitting Cubase 15, when I launched Dorico 6, says I don’t have a license.

Long story short: I somehow have two profiles with Steinberg with two email addresses. Most of my products, including Cubase 14, are on one address, but I downloaded the demo with the other.

Should I totally uninstall Cubase v15 and all its content, and start again, by downloading with the correct address? or is there a shortcut, where I can transfer it to the proper ID? BTW I am certainly going to buy the upgrade.

  1. In the Activation Manage log out, and then log in with the correct email. If you are logged into the wrong account in the Download Assistant do the same with it.

  2. request the trial again using the correct account. You might need to add the activation code to the Download Assistant.

No need to download or uninstall Cubase
