Two suggestions for working to picture in Cubase

Hello,

I have two simple suggestions for Cubase when working to picture:

1) Make the video scrub as you move audio or MIDI regions around in the timeline.

This has been a standard behavior in most DAWs for years so I’m quite surprised Cubase doesn’t have this feature.

2) Allow for bouncing out of audio and video together, straight from the DAW.

Yes, I’m aware of some of the work arounds you can do, but that’s the problem: they’re work arounds. Other DAWs have this feature and it’s vastly easier and faster to render out a quick video file that you can show to clients so they can quickly review the audio directly in sync with the video.

I realize that some of these features may (or may not) be available in Nuendo. I use Cubase at my job and didn’t have the option to select another DAW so Cubase is it. And much of my job is creating audio to video, so these features would greatly improve my workflow. Given that even cheaper, younger DAWs have these two features, it seems only logical that Cubase should have them as well.

Thanks for reading and considering!

Nate
