Two tied notes look as a quarter note?

Hi,

Sorry for posting this, but I tried all the options, I’m somehow lost…Please I’d like to have the tied note look as a quarter note:

You have to use Force Duration. Most of the Notation Options don’t really work for 5/4.

If this were a regular phrasing in your piece, you could input another time signature in bar 2, e.g. “2+1+2+1+2+2/8” to input a 10/8 with specified subdivision, then hide that time signature - leaving you with only the 1st bar to handle durations manually (although the time signature would break multi-bar rests in resting parts).
