Two time signatures with the second in brackets

Is it possible to create a time signature with an implied feel of another, such as the attached image? If so, how? My intention is to create 12/8 with the feel of 6/4. Please note, I am NOT talking about changing the beaming or note grouping, merely the appearance of the time signature itself. Thank you.

If I understand correctly, you can enter 12/8 (6/4) in the popover (with a space before the left parenthese)
