Two trill auxiliary note questions

Good morning, Dorico-verse,

Here are my two quetions:

  1. I feel that the right-hand paren is too close to the trill auxiliary note, unless that note has a ledger line. Is there any way for me to modify that?
  2. I am working on a score which is asking for a LOWER auxiliary note for a trill (i.e. a primary note of B-natural and an aux note of B-flat). Does Dorico have an option for a lower aux note? My workaround has been to write it as a tremolo, but it looks weird when the part above it also has a trill for the same duration with an upper aux note.

Grateful as always for your thoughts.

For context, here is a picture that shows the OP’s point (1):

I agree that the RHside parentheses is too close. Not sure the user can do something about it.

For point (2), you can select a negative interval in the Properties Panel:

This brings up another issue where the parentheses collide with the ledger line. Not even in Engrave Mode I’ve found any option to help with this.

Thank you so much for this! The negative interval option is exactly what I needed. And it’s good to know there’s someone else who has come across the same parentheses complaint.
