When changing the direction of the tie in bar 2, the end of it in bar 3 is not properly aligned. It’s tied to the C instead of the G. See how it flips.
No need for the movie anymore so I delete it.
It would be more useful to see the score with voice colours shown.
Also what happens if you flip the tie in write mode rather than engrave?

Here’s a picture of the voice colors too. The quarter note is the 2nd voice but the color is green. So I guess Dorico has created a tie from voice 3 to…no idea. I’m unable to find a way to delete only the tie. If I select it the 16th G is also deleted.
Guess I have to…yes, that’s what I had to do. I deleted the 16th note in voice 3. Then I added a tie to the quarter note G, correctly flipped upwards. Then I inserted the previously deleted 16th note. This is another example of the benefits of being able to hide voices. As you can see the color of the quarter note G is green in this screenshot too. So it looks the same regardless of which notes the tie belong to. Even if you are certain of which notes are inserted into different voices you need to delete one of them to confirm. There shouldn’t be any need for doubt.

I don’t know how you ended up with the tie needing to be flipped at all. When I enter the notes both ties go up as expected.
I expect the OP had the tie from the 16th in the green voice tied to the eighth in the blue voice, and that explained the downward tie.
Yes, that’s right. I clicked the both G notes and then T, after which the tie connected to voice 3 instead of voice 1 in bar 2, and to voice 1 in bar three. So it seems as if it connected across voices.
