I would like the piano to play una corda for 22 bars. On the 23rd bar, tre corda to return to normal playing. But the piano staves are no longer at the same height on page 9 as on the first page: the two terms ‘una corda and molto corda’ are linked. How can I adjust the height of the end of the pedal line? The engraving mode properties panel does not include an end Y offset. I am working with Dorico 5.

Thanks, jesele, but it’s not working for me at the moment. I can’t select the Y offset on its own. The two terms are linked: if I change one, the other moves too. I want to change the position of the second one without moving the first one.

I could just use the text on its own, which would be simpler, but then Dorico won’t take it into account when playing it back. To make a mock-up.

in your screenshot it is clear that you moved the tre corde graphically in engrave mode, instead of giving the whole una corda/tre corde PT a length, so positioning the tre corde semantically in the correct rhythmic position. Doing as you did, it is impossible to change the vertical position of tre corde graphycally differently from una corda, because they are simultaneous.
If you see the attachment lines this is obvious:

And here the correct way: giving the PT the desired semantical length in Write mode, so that Una corda attachment line is exactly where it should be:
To correct it, select the whole item and from menu Edit choose Reset Position. Then in Write mode, move the tre corde to the desire position with the prolonging shortcut (Shift+Option(Alt)+right arrow), or dragging the control point (little circle) to the desired position. It will align automatically and you will see also the courtesy (u.c.) appear.
