I exported a simple Dorico project (single solo guitar part) as a MIDI file and imported it to Cubase by dragging the Midi file into the project window. When I look at the new track in hte Score editor, it shows a Tempo marking above the first note event (screenshot below). I am unable to delete or move this Tempo marking in the score editor. Any ideas?

If you don’t want the tempo mark to be shown in the score then you can hide it in the Tempo Track’s Info Line
Thanks Paul,
My project does not have a tempo track. I didn’t add one, and there is none listed in the inspector dropdown. Do i need to add a tempo track to get the option to not display tempo on the score?
Thanks!
Phil
I added a tempo track, and selected it in the Inspector, but I am not seeing a Show in Score option like your screenshot. See my screenshot:
menu Project → Tempo Track → Open Tempo Track Editor
Tryto select the Tempo Event either in the Project view or in the Tempo Track Editor but not in the Score Editor.
The tempo track is always present, just that it’s not shown until you ‘add’ it.
Once the tempo track is shown, select the first tempo value as shown below or (I think) by clicking the first entry in the Inspector window and then you should see the Info Line
Thanks! That did the trick. Given what you said about the tempo track always being present, perhaps the tempo track should not be listed under “Project → Add Track” but rather under some option like “Show Tempo Track” ?
You know, I had the same thought at some point. Thinking about I came to realize that, if they do it with the tempo track, they also need to do it with the other tracks, of which you only can have one and which are therefore of the on/off type:
It would basically require to either put 5 icons somewhere on the project page, next to the track list, or at least a drop down menu where you can check mark whether these tracks sould be displayed or not.
And then I came to the conclusion that it is probably best to leave it the way it is.
