Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I am having an issue with Groove Agent drum packs, such as Simon Phillips Jazz Drums. I have about half a dozen of these that were installed on an older computer. I recently purchased a brand new computer and re-installed all my Cubase and other Steinberg sw. However, I have been unable to get Steinberg Download Assistant to work and that seems to be the only way download the drum packs. I get a “Connection to the download server could not be established” message, as if I had no internet connection. That is not the problem. I got an email from Yamaha support with a link to download a new version of the assistant. I installed it according to the directions but no change; repeated and still no change.
Is there a way to fix this? Is there a way to download these packs without Download Assistant?
